Selected Film and Video Work
Color and Retouching for Music Video Footage
Client: Sadaf (Musician)
Location: Shot in Paris, Post in New York
Project: Music Video
Service: Retouching and Color
Sadaf had some beautiful footage shot by her friend on the Seine, but wanted some basic retouching and color work.

Musical Performance Videos
Client: Matador Content, Pepsico
Location: New York, Matador Content Offices
Project: Creator’s League Live by Pepsi
Service: Editing, Retouching, Motion Graphics, Color
Notes: Two different artists recorded live sessions and interviews inside Creator’s League Live, a closed studio with an invited audience. Our job was to turn this footage into final lyric videos + promotional interviews, each in a different style that matched the artist and song.
Taking tasks off the plate of the head editor, Brian Hartough, I received video timelines in draft form with a bit of color and audio already done. My job was to add the final color, do any retouching, and primarily add all the graphics, plus make any additional edits needed.
The final videos needed to work as web clips, as well as videos for the Matador and Pepsico lounge spaces.
Trailer for an International Travel Trade Show
Client: Fairfest Media
Location: Mumbai, India
Project: OTM (B2B Travel Trade Show)
Service: Creative Direction, Scripting, Interviewing, Project & Team Management, Editing & Graphics
Year: 2020
Notes: Fairfest needed a new trailer/teaser to promote their event, as part of a larger identity and market positioning overhaul which I was the creative director for. My primary focus was their video content, copy and graphics. With a crew of four shooters and three interviewers, we covered this massive travel event with 20,000+ people. I led the crew and also scripted and performed some of the interviews.
The resulting video needed to work as a web embeddable and social media clip, a background video played on screens at different meetings, and something that could be cut apart into separate interviews and quotes.

Casual Interview Videos
Shot on Phone at Central Saint Martins
Location: London
Year: 2024
For a quick project at Central Saint Martins as part of my Masters, my project partner and I interviewed people on campus about the sun as a symbol, word or image, encouraging them to give the first example that came to their mind, ie a song lyric, a quote from something, a memory, etc. These were compiled, edited and shown in the gallery windows at the institution.

DIY, Mobile Art & Music Videos
Client: Hitashya
Location: Goa
Services: Shooting, Performing, AI and Editing (in phone only)
Notes: These are personal projects, smallscale DIY music videos shot and edited entirely on a phone during CoVid with no budget. For “Tear Up La Tierra”, I experimented with the current AI apps available on the phone, this is before Runway video and Sora.
I did have a few friends help me with some of the shots, but really it was all my phone, selfie sticks and one monopod!
Teaser to Pitch a Web Series
Client: Laura Parnes (Director)
Location: New York
Project: Indefinite Hiatus
Service: Teaser Editing, Titles
Notes: Laura had an offer to turn selected footage from her larger feature-length film into a new web series for Refinery 29. I edited a teaser for her pitch.
The show idea, Indefinite Hiatus, is a situational comedy focused on two famous musicians (real life couple, Lizzie Bougatsos of Gang Gang Dance and Matthew Asti of MGMT) who are navigating the transition into “middle age” along with couplehood, scene politics and life in a changing New York.

Listening Video and Album Teaser
Client: Fade to Mind (Record Label)
Location: Los Angeles
Project: “Nothin”, Single by Kingdom and Sid, Visualiser Video/Trailer/Announcement for Upcoming Album, TearsintheClub
Service: Creative Direction, Editing
Kingdom Tears in the Club Album Teaser
Commissioned Music Video
Client: Kingdom, Mixpak and Scion
Project: “Mind Reader” release
Location: New York and Baltimore
Service: Video Creation, Direction, Shooting & Editing
After collaborating with Kingdom on live visuals and parties in New York, he tagged me in as his chosen collaborator when he won a project through Scion to create a small budget music video. He wanted me to make something like the live videos I’d already been doing at his parties. This was a bit of a challenge, as at the time there was no way to really record that video output from Modul8 ! I spent most of the project figuring that part out, while shooting a few new small clips of a motorcycle rider to put in the mix. It was aired on MTV2 and picked up by a lot of blogs.
Fashion Drop Social Video
Project: SONIA Tees
Location: New York
Service: Direction, Creative Direction, Shooting, Editing
Model: Dion Olivier
Notes: For the drop of the SONIA tees, we shot a few clips for social media in the Spring of New York. Using a trick of over-clocking the warp stabilizer, the videos have a slightly wavy, warped effect which is very subtle.
Narrative Feature (Assistant Editor)
Client: Goldcrest Films, Adrenaline Entertainment, Jeanne Applegate
Project: Pimp (2018) Narrative Feature Film starring Keke Palmer
Service: Assistant Editing–Transcoding, Syncing, Formatting
Location: Pre-Production in LA, Production in New York, Post-Production in New York at Goldcrest Films
Notes: Editor Jeanne Applegate hired me as her AE for this feature-length film shot in LA and New York. Captured in Arri Anamorphic, this was mostly about formatting proxies and footage, and organizing it the way she likes for her color work and editing.
I loved being an AE because it allowed me to focus solely on the technical aspects of footage and Premiere/Resolvefor some time. As an editor you need an occasional refresher on these things. Jeanne was also an awesome editor to work with and Goldcrest was one of the nicer post-production studios in New York.
Indie Narrative Feature (Assistant Editor)
Client: Laura Parnes (Director)
Project; Tour Without End (2018) Narrative Feature
Service: Assistant Editing, Graphics
Location: New York
Notes: Tour Without End is a narrative feature shot from 2016-2017, including lots of live event coverage and famous NYC musicians playing themselves, many of whom are also friends. For the period of time I helped Laura, she needed most of the live event coverage edited down into both clips for the film and standalone Youtubes to give to the artists as a thank you for their participation. I also helped her create graphics and props for use in scenes still being shot.
Musicians and Performers featured in Tour Without End include Lizzie Bougatsos, Eartheater, Youthquake, FLUCT, Shannon Funchess of Light Asylum and more.
Motion Graphics and Retouching for Largescale Artist Video
Client: Yasmine Chatila
Location: New York
Project: Stolen Moments Video
Service: Editing, Graphics, Retouching
Yasmine had different voyeuristic footage of window scenes that she needed compiled into larger cityscape scenes, along with certain tweaks and edits of the footage like blurring out faces or logos. The masking and rotoscoping on this had to be done by hand with a Wacom, like video painting. Compositing was also super high def as the videos were meant to be wall-sized. We worked on these out of her home office in New York.
Largescale Artist Video Wall
Project: Xomia
Location: Ellis King Gallery, Dublin, Amsterdam and New York
Service: Video Creation, Wallpaper Design, Installation
Notes: A personal project for a largescale art installation of mine, this included a conceptual video wall with screens and a wallpaper, as part of a solo show.
Indie Narrative Feature
(Pre-Production)
Client: V&J Films
Location: New York
Project: MO(U)TH Narrative Feature Film
Service: Pre-Production Assistance and Graphic Design
Notes: During a month in New York I was asked by V&J to assist in their pre-production phase of actor/director Julianna Pitt’s first feature narrative. I helped with everything from concept development to financial and marketing strategy to graphics, content and copywriting.
Spiritual Influencer Social Video Intro & Title
Client: Laura Matsue
Project: Online Videos
Service: Title, Intro Clip
Notes: Laura is a well-known spiritual influencer who makes videos and leads retreats. She is also a long-time internet friend. She needed an intro to put on all her videos for a planned series of Youtubes. She already had a graphic she wanted to use, the same one from the cover of her book, and just wanted a simple animation with some kind of peaceful, spiritual sound. Since I understand this type of client really well, it was a fast and easy edit! I think it took all of two days. I also worked on this while I was in Goa and she was in Peru.
Comedy Music Video (Shoot Assistance)
Client: Lauren Devine (Musician), Director Erin Grant, DP Alex Gjovic
Location: New York, Milk Studios
Project: “Matchbook” Music Video
Service: Styling and Prop Assistance, helping the styling team of Bailey Stiles and Akeem Smith
Notes: Director Erin Grant tagged me into this video shoot to hang out and help set-up each scene. Styled like a comedic low/hi-budget cosmetics ad, it involved lots of prop sourcing and scene styling in front of a green screen.

Commissioned Music/Art Video
Client: Beach House and Subpop Records
Project: Teen Dream Album Release, Single “10 Mile Stereo”
Location: Baltimore
Year: 2010
Beach House used their music video budget for this album to commission selected artists to make response videos as music videos for different tracks, with complete carte blanche. They gave me “10 Mile Stereo”, which has lyrics about monuments and love crumbling through time and distance. My video is a mix of a lipsync, video chat, website, news broadcast and digital tombstone.
#BTS Video of a Photo Shoot, Social Video
Client: XLE.LIFE
Location: Goa, India
Project: XLE.LIFE Youtube Channel
Service: Channel Setup, Video Creation (Shooting, Interviewing, Editing)
Year: 2021
Notes: XLE.LIFE is a personal editorial project which is moving from essays into short-form video. During Tritha Sinha’s photoshoot for the interview she was speaking so eloquently I had to record, and this became a kind of behind-the-scenes clip. We also shot her performing with her singing bowl. There was no mic and the video clips are only from my still camera, but what she’s saying is too good! Planning to shoot more of these in coming years with a proper camera or my phone.
